Welcome to you all, I'm Eddie (Pop) Porter Sr. I would like to extend a hearty warm invitation to you all.

 

Mr. Eddie (POP) Porter sr. is the Oldest Member of the New Hope Covenant Church & The Covenant Christian Fellowship Organization Inc.

He was married to the late Missionary Johnnie Mae Porter; they are the parents to 5 Children and 1 preceded in death. He is the First and Senior Deacon at the New Hope Covenant Church, Downtown Broxton, Georgia.

 

Deacon Porter is a faithful man to the ministry and he yields to help in every area that he can help.

 

He has the privilege to be pastored by his very own daughter Pastor Daisy M. Whitfield and his Son-in-Law Apostle Sidney Whitfield Jr.  Deacon (Pop) also serves on the state board for the church organization.

 

This is a for sure phenomenal man of character, laughter and truth.  You will often find him around the church cracking jokes with a giggle of assurance that his joke was damaging to your tickle box.

 

Deacon (POP) Porter is most definitely a true example of a senior faithful member even on the days he doesn’t fell like going, He always find the strength to make it, He also travels on the road with the Pastor & the Apostle. He is determined to live this life freely in the faith of Christ and the chastisement of the word of God. His solemn prayer to you is that if you can do anything for God finds a way to fulfill it.
